Police to Meet with LGBTQ Community on June 21

The Montgomery County Police Department has scheduled a meeting with the LGBTQ community on June 21st from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Public Safety Headquarters, 100 Edison Park Drive, in Gaithersburg.

Some of the topics to be discussed:

• Bias-related incidents involving the LGBTQ community in Montgomery County.
• MCP’s response to and resources available during an active-assailant incident.
• MCP partnership with the LGBTQ community for future outreach.

Police are encouraging community members to arrive to this meeting early.
