Police Seeking Help to Find Guerra & Pineda
Gaithersburg Police Detectives arrested 28-year-old Isidro Pineda Guardado of no fixed address for a stabbing that occurred on December 7, 2013. Guardado has been charged with attempted first degree murder, assault and reckless endangerment-related charges.
According to the police, on December 7, 2013, at 2:32 a.m., a stabbing was reported at the Cancun Cantina located at 117 E Diamond Avenue. Preliminary investigation revealed that earlier in the evening, the victims and three unknown suspects were involved in a verbal argument that was disrupted by other patrons. As the victims were in the parking lot, police said, the unknown suspects approached the victims and stabbed them both with an unknown sharp object causing life threatening injuries. All three suspects then fled in a dark colored Honda Civic with Texas registration plates, according to police. The victims were transported to area hospitals for medical care and were in stable condition at that time, police said.
Detectives developed information on all three suspects and obtained arrest warrants.
According to police, Isidro Pineda Guardado was located and placed under arrest on December 28, 2013. He is currently being held without bond at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
Police said the other two suspects, Edwin J. Guerra and Edgardo Pineda, are believed to have fled the state. Both suspects are wanted for attempted first degree murder and related charges.
