Police Seek Stabbing Suspect (Photo)

stabbingsuspectDetectives from the Gaithersburg Police Investigative Section are continuing to investigate an aggravated assault that occurred on December 16, 2012 in the 200 block of East Diamond Avenue.  Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect, Santos Orellana-Juarez.

Orellana-Juarez is described by police as a Hispanic male, 5’06” to 5’07”, 155-165 lbs., with short dark hair, and a thin mustache with a goatee.

Police have released this account:  On December 16, at approximately 2 a.m., an officer was patrolling in the 200 block of East Diamond Avenue when a citizen flagged him down and stated that he was stabbed by a group of unknown males. As officers were investigating the complaint, a call was dispatched for a second victim who was stabbed in the area of Brookes Avenue and Park Avenue. Both victims sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals for additional medical care.

Detectives confirmed that the incident took place in the parking lot area of Mi Pueblitos Restaurant located at 6 North Summit Avenue.
