UPDATE: Missing Silver Spring Man Found Safe, Unharmed

Update (Sept. 15): Montgomery County Police said Armando Perez has been located safe and unharmed.


Original Post (Sept. 14): The Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigation Section is asking the public to help find a 71-year-old man from the Silver Spring area who has dementia. 

Armando Perez was last seen by family leaving his University Boulevard East residence on foot at around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13. He was wearing a white shirt, gray shorts and a gray baseball cap, police said in a press release. 

According to police, Perez is about five feet and ten inches tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair.    

Anyone with information regarding Armando Perez’s whereabouts or anyone who sees him is asked to call the Montgomery County Department of Police at 301-279-8000.
