Police Seek Help in Identifying Bank Robbery Suspect (Photos)
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Oct. 15 at the TD Bank in Germantown.
Detectives are releasing surveillance photographs of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
According to police, on Oct. 15 at approximately 9:20 a.m., 5th District officers responded to the TD Bank located at 19501 Frederick Road in Germantown for the report of a bank robbery. Investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and passed a note demanding money. The note implied that the suspect had a weapon. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and exited the bank.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, approximately 5’11″ to 6’01″ tall, and approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a disguise.
