Police Seek Help Identifying Man Wanted for Silver Spring Burglaries

Montgomery County’s Silver Spring police district released surveillance footage showing a man wanted in connection with a commercial burglary incident and an attempted burglary that occurred Sept. 17 in downtown Silver Spring.

Police say the first incident happened at 12:15 a.m. at the National Ready Mixed Concrete office, located at 900 Spring Street. A man tried gaining entry into the building but was unsuccessful, according to police.

Later at 1:27 a.m., police believe the same man gained entry into the Children’s Hospital Foundation office, located at 801 Roeder Street. The man stole property from the office, police say.

Police urge anyone with information about these incidents or the man in the video to contact Silver Spring police district’s Investigation Section at 240-773-6870. People with information who want to remain anonymous can call the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477.
