Wheaton District detectives are investigating an Oct. 16 commercial burglary of the Colesville Beer and Wine store, releasing surveillance photographs in hopes that the public can help identifying him.

About 3:49 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, Wheaton District officers responded to the Colesville Beer and Wine store at 13468 New Hampshire Ave. for the report of a commercial burglary alarm at the business, police said. Responding officers found damage to the front door to the business and confirmed that a burglary had occurred.

Store video surveillance shows four burglars arriving at the business in a silver-colored, four-door passenger sedan. One culprit remained in the driver seat as the three others forced entry into the business.  The burglars stole property from the store and fled in the sedan.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or his clothing or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the Wheaton District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530.
