Olney Mother, Son Found Safe and Unharmed, Police Say

UPDATE, March 14: Montgomery County police released a statement that said Crystal Marie Wood and her 5-year-old son, Gianni Vanegas have been located safe and unharmed.

Original Post: Montgomery County police are looking for an Olney mother and her son, a police statement said.

Crystal Marie Wood, 33, of Tidewater Court, has her 5-year-old son, Gianni Vanegas, with her, police said.  They were last known to be in the Olney area on Saturday, police said.

Wood is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair, police said.

Wood was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “pink” written on the front, black leggings, and carrying a red purse, police said.

Vanegas is about 3 feet tall, weighs 41 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair, police said.  He was last seen wearing a dark jacket over a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and gray, high top Chuck Taylor sneakers, police said.

Police and family are concerned for the well-being of Wood and her son.
