At a Dec. 7th Public Safety Committee meeting, Montgomery County Police Chief Tom Manger briefed County Councilmembers on crime statistics. And while so far this year, Part I crimes (serious offenses) in the County have slightly decreased by 1.2 percent, some area’s like Montgomery Village have experienced an increase.
