Police Release Video from Potomac Burglary

Montgomery County police are investigating a residential burglary in Potomac and released a surveillance video Thursday in hopes someone can identify the culprit.

The burglary occurred about 2:30 a.m. May 27 at a home in the 8500 block of Country Club Drive; the residents were not home at the time, police said. The home surveillance system captured one man leaving through the front door. Property was stolen and the perpetrator fled, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the burglary is asked to call the Bethesda police district Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.

Tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest or indictment. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
