Police Release Video in Attempted Robbery, Asking for Public’s Help
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects they believe are responsible for an attempted robbery at a Germantown grocery store.
Officers responded to the report of an assault at the Shoppers Grocery Store, located at 18066 Mateny Road, Saturday evening.
Investigators said two female suspects entered the store, and demanded baby formula kept in a locked case from a 47-year-old female employee. According to police, the suspects assaulted the employee and fled the grocery store without obtaining any property.
The employee was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
