Police Release Surveillance Video of Theft Suspects in Wheaton
Montgomery County police need your help to identify two theft suspects who police officers say took several pairs of sunglasses from a Sunglass Hut at Macy’s inside the Westfield Wheaton Mall on July 15.
Police have released surveillance video, see below, from the investigation in hopes someone will recognize the suspects:
According to a police account, the suspects stole several pairs of sunglasses by concealing them in bags. Police said the total value of the stolen sunglasses is approximately $1,000.
Anyone with information about this theft or these suspects is asked to call the 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240.773.5476. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1.866.411.TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest in this case.
