Police Release Surveillance Video of Kensington Burglary

Montgomery County police released today home surveillance video from an Oct. 8 residential burglary in Kensington in hopes the public can help identify the culprits.

On Sunday, Oct. 8, about 1:22 p.m., Bethesda District officers responded to a home in the 10100 block of Thornwood Road for the report of a residential burglary, police said. Detectives found out the culprits forced entry into the home through a rear sliding glass door about 2:15 a.m., police said. The residents were not home at the time. The culprits stole property and fled, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about this burglary is asked to contact the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
