Montgomery County police on Wednesday released surveillance video of the burglary of $30,000 worth of copper wiring from a construction site earlier this month.

Investigators hope someone recognizes the perpetrators.

The thieves broke their way into an office building under construction at 9900 Medical Center Drive, Gaithersburg, just before 7 p.m. Sept. 3, police said.

Anyone who has information regarding this burglary is asked to call the Montgomery Village police district investigative section at 240-773-5770.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest or indictment.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
