Police Release Photo of Suspect Involved in Subway Currency Theft
The Montgomery County Department of Police has released a surveillance photo of a male suspect involved in the theft of coins from a Subway shop in Colesville.
On Saturday, April 18 at about 10 a.m. the suspect entered the Subway sandwich shop on 45 Randolph Road and approached an employee working behind the counter, according to police. Police said that the suspect asked if the store had any face masks. While the employee went to get the suspect a face mask, the suspect broke into the store’s change dispenser.
The suspect stole coins from the dispenser and then fled the scene. He was last seen getting into a red sedan, according to police.
Police are urging anyone with information on the suspect to call the department.
