Police Officer Gamard Advocates for Animal Breathing Masks on Fire Trucks (Video)
In this MyMCMedia Extra, Montgomery County Police Officer Nicole Gamard talks about recent progress being made to equip Montgomery County fire and rescue trucks with animal breathing masks to get animals oxygen when rescued from a fire. Her Shiloh Shepherd, Quest, was rescued from a fire at her Damascus house earlier this year. Another one of her dogs did not survive the fire.
Officer Gamard made the remarks at a news conference to honor a 13-year-old girl who called alerted her mom to call 9-1-1 when she saw Officer Gamard’s house on fire.
