Police Need Your Help to Find Missing Silver Spring Woman (Photo)

Florence Johnson, age 87, of the 8500 block of Springvale Road in Silver Spring, has been located safe and unharmed in Washington, D.C.

Police and family thank those who publicized and shared this missing person case.

Montgomery County police are asking for your help in locating a missing woman from Silver Spring.

Florence Johnson, age 87, of the 8500 block of Springvale Road in Silver Spring, was last seen walking in front of her residence at approximately 12:15 p.m. on Feb. 2.

Johnson is described by police as a black female with gray and black hair, approximately 5’4″ tall, and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a blue skirt, pink jacket, and blue and white sneakers, police said.

According to a police news advisory, Johnson suffers from dementia and other medical conditions that require medication.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Johnson or anyone who believes they see Johnson is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department at 301.279.8000.
