Police Locate Missing Silver Spring Teen (PHOTO)

UPDATED  Verenice Soledad Cruz, age 16, of the 13500 block of Georgia Avenue has been located safe and unharmed.  She was reported missing on March 5. Police and family thank those who shared and publicized this missing person case.

Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile missing from Silver Spring.

According to police, Verenice Soledad Cruz, age 16, of the 13500 block of Georgia Avenue was last seen on February 1. Cruz is described by police as an Hispanic female, 5’02” tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and long, black hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. Cruz is known to frequent the Aspen Hill Apartments, according to police.

Police and family are concerned for Cruz’ welfare because she has not been heard from or seen since her disappearance.
