Police Locate Missing Montgomery Village Woman

UPDATED Police report that Rita Cummings was located and reunited with her family.

Montgomery County police need your help to find a woman missing from Montgomery Village.

Police said Rita Cummings, age 72, is missing from the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village. She was last seen at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Milestone Shopping Center in Germantown. Cummings is described by police as a white female, 5’1″ tall, and weighing approximately 120 pounds.  She has brown eyes and maroon colored hair. Police said she speaks with a slight Caribbean accent and walks with a hunch.

Police and family are concerned for Cummings’ physical and mental well-being.

Anyone with information regarding Cummings’ whereabouts is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240,773.5770.
