UPDATED: Police Locate Missing Man with Alzheimer’s (PHOTO)

UPDATED Police have located Yenquan Fan and reunited him with his family.

ORIGINAL POST Montgomery County police officers are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 80-year-old man who has severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Police said Yenquan Fan, of the 10900 block of Connecticut Avenue in north Kensington was last seen today at approximately 4 p.m. when he walked away from his home. According to police, Fan only speaks Chinese Mandarin and does not know his name.

Yenquan Fan is described by police as an Asian male, approximately 5’6” tall, and weighs 135 pounds. He has black and gray hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey knit shirt and grey pants. Fan is also wearing one brown shoe and one black shoe.

Anyone with any information regarding Fan’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department immediately at 301.279.8000.
