Montgomery County police are asking for your help to find a missing Germantown woman.

Fanny Rivera, age 60, of the 20800 block of Tall Forest Drive in Germantown, was last seen leaving her residence around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28.

Police describe Rivera as a white Hispanic female, 5’5″ tall and weighing 140 pounds. Police said she left her home on foot and was wearing a red turtleneck under a black fleece jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers and a black hat.

Police and family members are concerned for her welfare because Rivera suffers from aphasia which affects her ability to communicate even if she is offered help. Police said Rivera frequents the Milestone Shopping Center and regularly attends services at Mother Seton Church in Germantown.

Anyone who has seen Rivera, or has information about her whereabouts, is asked to call Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000.
