UPDATED, August 13, 11 a.m. – Police report that Dong Yoo has been found.
ORIGINAL POST The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for your help to locate a missing Gaithersburg woman.
Dong Yoo, age 58, was last seen around 11 a.m. on Aug. 12th leaving her apartment on King James Way.
According to police, Yoo often walks to Lakeforest Mall as part of her daily routine.
Police said family members presumed that Yoo was leaving her residence to walk to the mall on Wednesday but they became concerned when she did not return last night.
Police said that Yoo has a diminished mental capacity and functions at a teenage level.
Yoo is described by police as an Asian female, 5’4″ tall, 140 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy-blue shirt and flowered-pattern pants.
Anyone who sees Yoo or has information about her whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.
