Police Locate Missing 12-Year-Old Rockville Girl

UPDATED 8-18-14 Jessica Leon, age 12, of the 12000 block of Turkey Branch Parkway in Rockville, has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Rockville juvenile.

Police said Jessica Leon, age 12, of Turkey Branch Parkway, was last seen by family on Saturday, August 9.

Jessica is described by police as a Hispanic female, approximately 4’6″ tall, and weighs 125 pounds.  She has brown eyes and long brown hair with light brown highlights.  Police said Jessica may have been planning to go to the area of Upshur Street NW and 14th Street NW in D.C.

Police and family are concerned for Jessica’s welfare due to her age and the fact that she has not been seen or heard from since Saturday.
