Police Locate Missing Kensington Resident (PHOTO)

Labiru-199x300UPDATED 8:36 p.m. Police report that Labiru Adikari has been located safe and unharmed.

ORIGINAL POST Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department’s Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kensington juvenile.

According to police, Labiru Adikari, age 12, of the 11200 block of Woodson Avenue in Kensington, has been reported missing by his family.

Labiru is described by police as an Indian male, 5’2″ tall, 110 pounds, with brown eyes, short black hair, and a light brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a black North Face jacket, blue sweatpants, and carrying a brown book bag with one strap, police said.

Police and family are concerned for Labiru Adikari’s well-being due to the weather conditions and his age.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Labiru Adikari is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Special Victims Investigations Division at 240.773.5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000 (24 hour line).
