Police Need Your Help to Find Elderly Woman Missing From Silver Spring (PHOTO)

MsHill2-172x300Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 80-year-old woman who has dementia.

According to Montgomery County Police, Dorothy Hill left her assisted living residence in the 8500 block of Springvale Road in Silver Spring at approximately 3:30 p.m. today. Police said she was walking at the time but it is possible that she may have hailed a cab.

Dorothy Hill is described by police as a black female, approximately 5’5” tall, and weighs 120 pounds. She has short gray hair, hazel eyes and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a brown coat and gray scarf and was carrying a red bag.

According to police, Hill may be attempting to travel to the 1800 block of Maryland Ave NE in Washington, D.C.

Anyone with any information regarding Hill’s whereabouts is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department immediately at 301.279.8000.
