Montgomery County Police need your help to find a missing Wheaton woman.

Carman Ibar, 70-years-old, was last seen on Nov. 27 at approximately 3 p.m. at her residence in the 12600 block of English Orchard Court in Wheaton. At that time, it is believed that she obtained keys to a family member’s vehicle and drove away.

Ibar is described by police as a white female, 5′ 3″ tall, and weighing 140 pounds. At the time of her disappearance she was wearing navy blue pants and a light blue sweater. She has brown hair in a pony tail. She is wearing a long silver and gold colored necklace that is shown in the photo. The vehicle she is believed to be driving is a gray 2010 Toyota Corolla with Maryland license plates 8AD3163.

Ibar is known to frequent her former address in the 4700 block of Iris Street in Aspen Hill, the Glenmont McDonalds, the Shriver Aquatic Center in North Bethesda, and the nearby McDonalds located at Marinelli Road and Rockville Pike.

Police and family are concerned because Ibar has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and does not normally drive. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Carmen Ibar or the 2010 Toyota they are asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Callers may remain anonymous.
