Montgomery County police officers are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Wheaton woman.
Police said 65-year-old Ruby Jean Willford was last seen by family at about 10 p.m. on September 19 when she walked out of her Parker Avenue home. According to police, family members reported Willford missing early the next morning and noted that she is familiar with public transportation and that they did not know where she may have gone.
Willford is described by police as an African American female, 5’04” tall and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown eyes and wears a long blonde wig that contains multi-colored weaves. Police said she was last seen wearing a black jacket over a crème colored turtleneck, a long skirt with blue stripes, and tan boots.
According to police, Willford is without her medication and police and family members are concerned for her physical welfare.
Anyone with information in reference to the whereabouts of Willford is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000.
