Police Locate Missing Montgomery Village Man

UPDATED Jan. 22 4:33 p.m. –  Police report that Anoushiravan Ashraf  has been located.  The Silver Alert has been cancelled.

ORIGINAL POST Detectives from the 6th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Montgomery Village man.

According to police, Anoushiravan Ashraf of the 9900 block of Lake Landing Road in Montgomery Village, was last seen on January 16 but recently reported to the police. Ashraf is described by police as a white male, 5’11” tall, weighing 175 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be operating a red 1993 Mazda Miata with Maryland tags, JNN676. A Silver Alert has been activated regarding his disappearance.

Police are concerned for the welfare of Anoushiravan Ashraf as he may be suffering from the early stages of dementia . Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Ashraf is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police at 301.279.8000.
