Police Locate Missing Silver Spring Woman (PHOTO)
UPDATE Jan. 19. -Ana Guardado-Pineda has been located safe and unharmed.
ORIGINAL Jan. 14. Detectives from the 3rd District are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Silver Spring woman.
According to a news release, Ana Guardado-Pineda, age 44, of University Boulevard E in Silver Spring, was last seen at her residence around 7:20 a.m. on Jan. 8. Police say that Guardado-Pineda told family members that she planned to travel by bus to a doctor’s appointment in the Aspen Hill area later that morning. Guardado-Pineda did not go to the appointment.
Police describe Guardado-Pineda as a Hispanic female, 5’3” tall, and 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
The news release states that while there is no indication of foul play in this missing person case, police and family are concerned for Guardado-Pineda’s physical and emotional welfare.
Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Ana Guardado- Pineda is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000.
