UPDATED: Police Locate Missing Colesville Man (PHOTO)

UPDATE: Police have located Victor Saavedra, who is safe.

ORIGINAL: Montgomery County police officers are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Colesville area man.

According to police, 79-year-old Victor Saavedra of Sherwood Forest Drive was last seen boarding a bus near his residence at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 21.

Saavedra is described by police as a Hispanic male, 5’4″ tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. Police said he has brown eyes and white or gray hair and was wearing a suit.

Family and police are concerned for Saavedra’s welfare.
