Silver Alert Canceled for Burtonsville Man

Update, 10 p.m.: Montgomery County police report William Benjamin Miller has been found safe and unharmed. The Silver Alert for has been canceled.


Original post: Maryland State Police have issued a Silver Alert for William Benjamin Miller, an 83-year-old man who suffers from dementia. Detectives from the Silver Spring police district station are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Miller is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighing 215 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes. It is not known what he may be wearing.

Miller was last seen at his home in the 2800 block of Cabin Creek Drive in Burtonsville about 1 p.m. Wednesday. He is believed to be driving a blue Toyota Prius with Maryland tag 7BK0505.
