Police Investigating Possible Drowning (PHOTOS and VIDEO)
UPDATED Montgomery County police and fire rescue crews are on the scene of a pond in Montgomery Village for the report of a possible drowning.
According to Fire Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the call was dispatched shortly before 10 a.m. on May 20 at Russell Avenue and Montgomery Village Avenue near Lake Forest Mall.
Montgomery County Police Spokesperson Angela Cruz said police have confirmed the death of a male found at the pond but information about the circumstances of the death is unknown.
No other details have been released to date. The investigation is continuing.

Me and my friend go fishing down there a lot and we know a lot of other people do to and we all know how the man died so that morning we took the bus to go to the pond and we saw the man fishing and so we said hello and asked if he caught anything then he replied saying nope I just got here and then me and my friend down to where the guy was fishing and we where about 10 feet away from him and then he gets a fish on the line and then he says it’s a carp! it’s a carp!And the carp in the ponds are known to be 100s of pounds And then he hooks a belt thing around his hip and hooks his fishing rod to it so that he can reel the fish in and then he starts getting dragged in the pond and we talk him to unhook the belt and he couldn’t and so he started to go under water so me and my friend ran for help and when we came back he was gone and about 30 minutes of looking we couldn’t find him so then a biker came and told the police and that’s how it happened and I promise you If you drain out the ponds you will see a big fish with a a fishing rod hanging down his mouth
