Police Investigating Attempted Sexual Assault in North Bethesda

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) detectives from the Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are investigating an attempted sexual assault in North Bethesda on Feb. 13. 

At around 3:05 p.m. a male tried to sexually assault an adult female on California Circle, according to a press release. The woman resisted and the suspect fled. 

Police described the suspect as a muscular black male in his late teens to early 30s. He was wearing blue or gray pants, a hooded sweatshirt, and might have bite marks on his hands from the victim. 

MCPD asks anyone with information to call SVID at 240-773-0432. Anonymous callers should reach the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.
