Police Investigate Theft at Germantown Wegmans Grocery Store (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County police detectives need your help to identify a suspect believed to be involved in a theft from the Wegmans store in Germantown.
According to police, a wallet was stolen from a customer’s purse on April 24 at the Germantown Wegmans located at 20600 Seneca Meadows Parkway. Later the victim’s credit card was used at a nearby Target store. Surveillance photographs of the suspect have been released by the police.
Police say a similar theft occurred at the same Wegmans grocery store on March 2, 2015. Police believe the same individual was responsible for both thefts. Police also believe that the same person committed similar thefts in Fairfax County, Va., Leesburg, Va. and Frederick, Md.
