Police Investigate Shots Being Fired at Parked Vehicles in Fairland Neighborhood

Police are investigating an incident that involved parked vehicles being shot by gunfire in a Fairland area neighborhood.

On April 19, police say that Silver Spring district officers responded to report that multiple gunshots were going off around the 12300 block of Featherwood Drive at 11:50 p.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, police say they not only found “several spent shell casings” in the area, but they also noticed many parked vehicles appeared to have been struck by gunfire.

Police say there have been no reports of any injuries from this incident, but the investigation is still ongoing.
