Police Investigate Shooting that Injures Teen

Montgomery county policeMontgomery County police are investigating the report of a teenage girl shot in the foot earlier today (Feb. 14).

According to police, it happened shortly before 1 p.m. near the Gaithersburg Library in Montgomery Village.

Officer Bob Ladany said police are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.

According to Ladany, the 17-year-old girl was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
