Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Germantown
One man confronted another man in Germantown on Friday morning and fired multiple shots at him, a Montgomery County police statement said.
In a 1:15 a.m. call to the county’s Emergency Communications Center, the victim said he was not hurt, and the other man fled in a vehicle. The victim provided no description of the other man, police said.
Officers from the Germantown police district responded to the area of the 12600 block of Wisteria Drive and Laurel Grove Terrace where the victim was. Police found and collected evidence.
The preliminary investigation indicates this incident does not appear to be a random event, police said. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
