Police Investigate Serious Motorcycle Crash on ICC

Maryland Transportation Authority police officers are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that occurred Thursday night on the Intercounty Connector (ICC).

Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said one person was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The eastbound lanes of the ICC, near Shady Grove Road, were closed for several hours while the investigation was underway.

No other information has been released to date.
