Police Investigate Accident During Rockville Parade
Several people were injured in a truck accident that occurred in the parking lot of the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center during the city of Rockville’s Memorial Day Parade on May 26.
Rockville City Police are investigating the incident that occurred at Martin’s Lane and Rockville Pike.
“Several individuals in the back of a truck fell out when the truck moved while in the parking lot of the swim center,” said Rockville Police Chief Terry Treschuk. “Two were transported to Suburban Hospital, one to Shady Grove and one to Walter Reed. The truck struck a City of Rockville recreation and parks employee who was also transported to Shady Grove Hospital.”
No other information has been released about this incident to date.
The investigation continues.
