Montgomery County police are hoping the public can identify a truck or two men who appear in a surveillance photo taken last month at the National Tire & Battery store at 15609 Frederick Road, Derwood, where a commercial burglary took place.

The burglary took place Feb. 25, and an employee discovered it the next day, police said.

Police found that someone forced entry into a storage structure on the property about 11:30 a.m. Feb. 25. The thieves stole tires from the structure and fled in blue pickup truck.

Investigators are asking residents to look at the enlarged details of the truck in the surveillance photograph. Anyone with information regarding the truck or the theft is asked to call the Rockville District Investigative Section at 240-773-6084. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided that leads to an arrest in this case.
