Police Hope Public Can ID Gaithersburg Pawn Shop Robber

Montgomery County police have released surveillance video of a June 13 pawn shop robbery in hopes someone can identify the perpetrator.

The robbery took place about 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at First Cash Jewelry and Exchange pawn shop at 117 N. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg, police said.

A man, wearing a mask, entered the shop, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded cash, police said.

The employee complied with the demands, and the culprit fled, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about this robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division; Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.
