Bradley Party & Variety store in Bethesda was burglarized in August and police are releasing surveillance video in hopes someone can identify the culprit.

About 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26, the man entered the store, at 6922 Arlington Road, posing as a customer, police said.

A review of the store’s surveillance video revealed that the man went to the rear of the store and entered an area designated for employees only, police said. He forcibly opened a locked door to an area that contained business proceeds, stole money, returned to the main area of the store, and walked out of the business, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the burglary is asked to call the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online.

Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest or indictment of the perpetrators. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
