Laura Wallen | MCPD

The car driven by a missing Olney teacher, Laura Elizabeth Wallen, was found Thursday evening outside a Columbia apartment complex, Montgomery County police said Saturday.

Wallen, 31, of Rolling Meadow Way, is four months pregnant, police said.

She had been known to frequent the Columbia area, police said. Her car, a 2011 Ford Escape, was found unoccupied and parked at an apartment complex in the 10600 block of Gramercy Place in Columbia.

Family members have not contacted Wallen since they received a text from her phone on the morning of Monday, Sept. 4.

Wallen is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Laura Elizabeth Wallen is urged to call the 24-hour police non-emergency line at 301.279.8000.
