Police Close Randolph Road for Investigation

This just in: Ongoing police activity forced the closure of eastbound lanes on Randolph Road at New Hampshire Avenue. Montgomery County police are warning motorists to avoid the area if possible.

Officer Rebecca Innocenti said police received an anonymous call at 9:17 a.m. on Aug. 7 about a suspicious man with a bag. Innocenti said the man is in custody and the investigation is continuing. Shortly after 10 a.m., she said eastbound Randolph Road was reopening.
