UPDATED: Police Arrest Second Person in Germantown Homicide

A second person has been charged in the shooting death of a 19-year-old Germantown man who died in a home invasion on April 29, a Montgomery County police statement said.
Furl John Williams, 24, of the 400 block of Brentwood Drive in Fort Washington, was arrested Tuesday and charged with home invasion and first-degree murder in the death of Amaru Amir Santos Johnson, 19, police said. Williams is being held in lieu of bail in Montgomery County, according to online court records.
Eric Anthony Lee, 23, was arrested May 4 for this homicide, police said. Detectives do not believe that this homicide was random.
About 12:55 a.m. Saturday, April 29, the Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls for a shooting that had just occurred at a residence in the 12800 block of Kitchen House Way, police said. Officers as well as fire and rescue personnel responded to the home and found two men and two women suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said.
Johnson was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, police said. The three remaining victims were taken to local hospitals with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore ruled Johnson’s manner of death as a homicide by gunshot wound.
Detectives determined that shortly after midnight on April 29, Lee and Williams robbed two victims at gunpoint in the parking lot of the 12800 block of Kitchen House Way. The robbery victims fled to the home where the shooting occurred, police said.
A short time later, Johnson and two other shooting victims were standing outside of the home on Kitchen House Way when Lee and Williams arrived at the house, police said. Upon approaching the front door to the home, Williams immediately shot one of the victims in the leg, police said.

Johnson and a third victim tried to flee inside the home where they were also shot by Williams. Williams shot a fourth victim inside of the home. After the shooting, Lee and Williams fled.
While they were on the scene, detectives found an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the 13300 block of Queenstown Lane in Germantown. The vehicle had been reported as stolen on April 17 during an armed carjacking in Prince George’s County, police said.
Detectives searched the vehicle and found property taken from the victims during the Kitchen House Way robbery. Inside the vehicle, detectives also found fingerprints that police said belonged to Williams.
Several of the victims positively identified Lee as one of the people involved in the crimes, police said. Lee was arrested May 4 on the strength of a Montgomery County arrest warrant that charged him with first-degree murder and home invasion.
On May 4, an arrest warrant was issued for Williams, charging him with first-degree murder and home invasion.
Williams also has been charged by Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit detectives in connection to the recent fatal shooting at a gas station in Suitland, Prince George’s police said. He has been charged with the murder of 27-year-old Wayne Pope of Suitland, police said.
On May 3, shortly after midnight, patrol officers responded to the gas station in the 4700 block of Silver Hill Road, Prince George’s police said. The officers found the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim had gone into the gas station to make a purchase, police said. When he was returning to his car, he was approached by a robber, armed with a gun, police said. The victim and the robber struggled, and the victim was shot, police said. His car was then stolen.
