Police Are Setting Up a Sobriety Checkpoint Friday Night in Montgomery County
Montgomery County police officers are setting up a sobriety checkpoint Friday night.
The enforcement is a component of the department’s effort to curb impaired and underage drinking. The checkpoint will include officers from the Montgomery County Police Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police Department, Gaithersburg Police Department, Rockville Police Department and the Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
The checkpoint is scheduled to begin at about 10 p.m. at an undisclosed location.
