Police are Investigating the Stabbing of a Pregnant Teen in Kensington
Montgomery County police officers are investigating the stabbing of a pregnant 19-year-old woman that occurred Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area near Upton Street in Kensington.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the stabbing appears to be domestic-related and the victim knew the suspect. According to police, the details leading up to the stabbing and the motive remain under investigation.
The victim was conscious and stabilized at the scene, police said, and transported in serious condition to an area trauma center for treatment.
As for the suspect, police said they have him in custody and his name is expected to be released after he is charged.
