Police Are Investigating a Bank Robbery in Bethesda (PHOTOS)
Montgomery County Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred last week in Bethesda.
According to police, it happened at 1:52 p.m. on August 7.
That’s when 2nd District officers responded to the M & T Bank branch located at 7920 Norfolk Avenue in Bethesda for a report of a bank robbery. Police said the investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, made threats and requested money. A weapon was not seen, according to police. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the bank, police said.
Now, detectives have released photographs of the suspect in this bank robbery and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
