New Pix Gallery (Photos)

The web team launched a new pix gallery and photo slider on the MyMCMedia.org website this past week.
Riptide
We used the slider to showcase images from around Montgomery County of the March 6 snowstorm and we have launched a Pet Pix gallery. For example, here’s a photo of my dog Riptide!
Still, we need more images. Send us a photo or two of your dog, cat, fish, bird, reptile, bunny, etc. It’s easy: pix@mymcmedia.org. And if you don’t have a pet: send us a photo of something else. We want to count you as a contributor on our site and we can always use good ideas.
With that said, please know we are still looking for more citizen journalists and contributors to grow and improve the website. You can blog, comment, put an event on our calendar, or just check out (and share) our videos. And, if you are already contributing: thank you!
Don’t forget MyMCMedia is on Facebook and Twitter too. According to our analytics, our social media posts with the most reach this week were either weather or accident related. Hope to see or hear from you soon.
