Permitting Services Open House on March 31

Montgomery County’s Department of Permitting Services is hosting an open house from 7:30 a.m. -noon on March 31 for customers to introduce its new Fee Payment Office at 255 Rockville Pike. The new office improves operations by creating a centralized point for payment and collection of fees and making the system that handles sensitive information more secure. The new operation will be managed by Permitting Services Manager Gail Lucas, who will be available at the open house to answer questions.

Last year, the department processed more than 50,000 different permits and licenses for more than 26,000,000 square feet of new construction, additions, renovations and tenant improvements. Nearly 85,000 plans were reviewed and completed.
